02Greece·Astronergy·2023

Complex transaction & full payment

One customer group. A €3.73m order, paid in full.

Within my first 10 months at Astronergy, I developed a 16.7 MW order worth €3,729,611 for one customer group. This formed part of the €5m+ in new business revenue I generated during that period. I protected the agreed terms and coordinated the process through to full payment. The group purchased through 13 Romanian companies, each with its own order, invoice and wire transfer, for delivery to Greece. Astronergy’s accounting department confirmed full receipt to me.

The assignment

Deliver one customer group’s commercial agreement through individual company orders, invoices and payments, while aligning product specifications, production capacity and delivery requirements for Greece.

My role

I connected the buying group with Astronergy’s teams in Germany and China, coordinating procurement, production, logistics and accounting through to payment.

The work behind the business

Explore the stages and original correspondence.

01/February 2023

I brought the product offer to acceptance.

I prepared the product options and commercial offer against the required delivery window. The customer group accepted a 16.7 MW order for delivery to Greece, with its 13 purchasing companies to be invoiced separately.

Result

A €3,729,611 agreement for delivery to Greece.

02/27 February 2023

I challenged changes that put the agreement at risk.

I warned internally that reopening agreed specifications or other terms could jeopardise the whole agreement. I proposed shipment timing as a possible area of flexibility, subject to customer acceptance.

Later that day, I confirmed the customer-approved 570 Wp module choice for the full quantity and circulated revised quantities for each company.

Result

The customer’s approved product choice was translated into internal instructions.

03/February–April 2023

I coordinated the group’s purchasing and delivery requirements.

I coordinated registration records, purchase orders and invoices for the group’s 13 Romanian purchasing companies. The customer returned 13 signed purchase orders, and Astronergy booked 16.7 MW of production capacity.

Working with Astronergy’s teams in Germany and China, I aligned the purchasing records with delivery to Greece and followed up on shipping confirmations, balance-payment documents and destination requirements.

Result

The group’s signed orders aligned with production capacity and shipping requirements.

04/Payment follow-through

The €3,729,611 order was paid in full.

I followed up with the customer and Astronergy’s accounting department to track receipt of the individual company payments.

All 13 purchasing companies paid by wire transfer. Astronergy’s accounting department confirmed to me that the full €3,729,611 had been received.

Result

€3,729,611 received in full by Astronergy, as confirmed by its accounting department.

About the figures and correspondence
